Privacy notice
Published 21 August 2026 for Aina's Kitchen Limited.
Who we are
Aina's Kitchen Limited prepares Nigerian food for pickup, local delivery and bulk pre-orders in Northampton. This notice explains how we use personal information when you use this website.
You can contact us using the email and telephone number shown on this page, or through our contact page.
What we collect
When you submit an order or a complaint we collect your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address where relevant, order notes, and any allergy or dietary notes you choose to give us. Allergy notes may include health-related information.
We also keep the public order number, the items you ordered (including names, prices, ingredients and allergens as they stood at the time), fulfilment choices, complaint correspondence, and the version of this notice you accepted.
The website uses a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie so that your basket and forms work. We do not collect analytics identifiers.
Why we use this information
We use this information to review and fulfil your order, send bank-transfer instructions after approval, communicate about your order or complaint, meet food-safety duties, and keep records the business needs.
The lawful bases we rely on are that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract, and that we have a legitimate interest in running a food business safely and handling complaints. Where allergy notes include health information, we process them because you have provided the information so that we can prepare food safely.
Providing contact and order details is required to place an order. You do not have to include allergy notes, but we may not be able to prepare food safely for you if you need us to consider an allergy and you do not tell us.
Who receives your information
Your information is processed on our hosting platform and, when we send email, by our email provider (Brevo). We do not sell your information. We do not use advertising networks or behavioural analytics.
Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies needed to keep your session, protect against cross-site request forgery, and remember your basket. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.
How long we keep information
We keep order and complaint records for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle complaints, and meet accounting and food-business record-keeping needs. Exact retention periods are reviewed by the business owner.
International transfers
Our hosting or email providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the provider's appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it where the law allows, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive information you provided in a portable form. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we use your information.
Automated decisions
This website does not make significant automated decisions about you.

We publish a version number on this notice. When you submit an order or complaint we record the version that was current at that time.
